Ethics Committee Meeting Held May 13, 2008

The Empire State Stem Cell Board held a regular business meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 10:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., in Meeting Room 1, North Concourse, Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY.

The Ethics Committee met from 10:35 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the full Board met from 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the Funding Committee met from 2:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Program Updates

	Consortia Planning Grants Awarded At its September 19, 2008 meeting, the Funding Committee awarded grants to 18 institutions for the development of strategic plans for the creation of consortia for stem cell research.
	Strategic Plan Adopted The Empire State Stem Cell Board adopted its Strategic Plan at the Board's June 27, 2008 meeting.
