Dr. Lorenz Studer, M.D., of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was profiled in the December 2015 issue of The Scientist. Dr. Studer discusses how he became interested in science in his childhood, his path through medical school, and how he transitioned into a research career. The profile also traces Studer’s research into developing an embryonic stem cell-based treatment for Parkinson’s disease.
